Na década de 70, quando a” Vênus Platinada” se consolidava, éramos poucos…São Paulo era considerada a SEGUNDA PRAÇA, muito embora respondesse por mais de 70% do faturamento… O RIO comandava tudo.. Boni e Clark, embora paulistas, se sentiam confortáveis no RIO… Como éramos “poucos”, quase sempre a equipe paulista se deslocava rumo à “Cidade Maravilhosa” para cobrir espaços …Outras praças também colaboravam ANTONIO BRITO vinha de PORTO ALEGRE, o HÉLIO COSTA, deixava sua BELÔ, eu ia aqui de São Paulo, e nos encontrávamos no RIO…Quase invariavelmente ficávamos todos no SAWOY …O pessoal da TELEDRAMATURGIA também ( e grande parte de São Paulo).. “Como éramos poucos”… artistas e jornalistas se encontravam sempre, e desses encontros surgiram boas amizades…JOSÉ WIlKER me impressionou desde o primeiro momento..Nos nossos encontros no “lobby” do hotel, ele sempre “pontificava” nas “rodinhas” de bate papo…O cara “transitava” por qualquer assunto.. Da política ao futebol, sempre tinha observações pertinentes…Desses encontros teve início uma amizade que me foi muito útil: passei de neófito a apreciador da “sétima arte”… Sempre que nos encontrávamos no Rio, saíamos para jantar…Ele conseguia discorrer sobre cinema, com nomes, datas, títulos… tudo isso sem ser chato…E ele conseguia um feito por todos observado : eu permanecia calado, admirado e absorvendo a “aula”… Pô , essas lembranças me veem e me custa a crer que o meu “professor” não esteja mais entre nós…A última aula foi essa que a Valéria contou, na Churrascaria Esplanada Grill, nos jardins …Já fazia tempo que não nos víamos…A Globo se tornou a “PODEROSA” e já não éramos tão “POUCOS”…TRINTA anos já haviam se passado e , nessa noite, pude constatar que o Zé estava melhor ainda, mais completo, mais sábio, mais informado … Era mais Zé Wilker !!!…Nós agora somos menos!
